Welcome to Yoga on the Mountain!

The Catskill Mountain Yoga Festival is a family-friendly event at Plattekill Mountain, in Roxbury, NY! The festival incorporates yoga & meditation for anyone and everyone! Instructors from all over the country will be showing up to the mat that day and we hope that you will too! Which yoga class best suits your needs?! We have something for everyone, and it will be fun to explore the different styles to figure out what feels good in your body!

With over 40 yoga classes and workshops, there is everything from Ashtanga remixed & meditation, to Kundalini, kids yoga, aerial yoga, yoga trapeze, power yoga, restorative yoga, a hip openers class, an inversion workshop, partner thai massage, creative yoga for rebels, slow and steady yoga, Acro yoga, chair yoga, a paint and flow, plant walks, amazing workshops and an inspiring yoga class with world-renowned headliner yogi extraordinaire, Kelly Kamm! Classes will be indoors, outdoors and even on the mountaintop!

Join Sama and Vinny as they take you on a magical soundscape journey. First, you will be guided through your own healing vibrations, through humming and mantra. After a short guided meditation you can lay back and receive an immersive vibrational experience. Together Sama and Vinny move through layers of gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, and other sacred instruments weaving in and out vocal toning to offer a cellular rejuvenation and relaxation from head to toe.

How to Support your Chakras, Make & Take! We will be offering a specialized workshop to discuss how essential oils support the body. We will discuss how to support the chakras using essential oils. During this workshop, you will learn about the different chakras, what oils best support each chakra, how to use them to allow a flow of energy and have an opportunity to make and take home your own chakra essential oil roller bottle blend! This workshop will cost $15.00 for supplies.

Kids Yoga with Nikki Laing

This class will be all about FUN. Suitable for ages 4-10. Kids yoga is a fun and interactive way for kids to build strength, release excess energy and learn techniques to stay calm. This class will encourage kids to explore and develop their minds and bodies. We will go through some traditional yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditations and end with a guided relaxation.
